98 honda civic rotor retaining screws proprietary?
Stripped a retaining screw today, or more specifically the head twisted off and fell to the floor after overtightening with an impact screwdriver. Didn't expect that!
I need a new screw, but I'm wondering if I can find somthing like this at lowe's or home-depot. Honda is closed on weekends and I'm S.O.L. for now.
Any way, is it just me or are those tiny retaining screws a reliability issue? They certainly aren't strong screws either.

it will be ok for a few days w/o it. i go to the junkyard and pull extras out of hondas there. they are all the same, so i have a handful of extras at my house all the time. i found that one of those cheapy screwdrivers that you can bend the handle to a 45-90 degree angle, with a #3 phillips bit, seems to work great on those screws. i broke three impact screwdriver bits last time i did a brake job. then i figured out that that funny screwdriver worked perfectly.

Those screws are terrible to deal with if it's like the 91. I ended up stripping two when I changed my rotors since they were rusted and stuck so bad. One came out in pieces and we had to use tap and die to get out and rethread. I ended up having to get screws from the dealership for 95 cents each, I tried hardware stores and other car dealerships that were closer no luck because the screw has to set inside the rotor right.
