Aceptable tire size
Neebie to this forum. Could not find the asnwer to a simple question concerning acceptable tire sizes for my totally stock 93 Civic with 13 inch rims. Stock tire size is 175/70/13.
Can I safely put 185/70/13's on these stock rims without rubbing concerns? What about 195's?
Thanks for your help in advance

RE: Aceptable tire size
Besides your pitifully small OEM tires/wheels your acceptable tire/wheel sizes are:
185/60/14
195/50/15
205/40/16
I would upsize to either of the latter two sizes. Everything else is like choosing which donuts you want to ride on.

If the 185 tire width is ok for your stock rims, you'll want a 60-series tire to keep the overall tire diameter correct.

RE: Aceptable tire size
well then just stick with stock size........
with swaping out the size on stock rims will throw off your speedo and youll be going faster than the speedo says.....
so just stick with stock and keep your speedometer correct...
