Default Air cylinder install

This will be my first civic to put on air, ive had trucks before and so im only use to that. the question is, are cylinders a simple bolt in? i know with the truck you had to have some kind of 2link or 4link, then the bag mounts, and then the bag. also, how close to the ground does the car get when on cylinders? ill have the black widow body kit and im hoping that it sits right above that.

well it all depends what size rims u have. and with civics its always smarter to run air struts i hate compressors so i run a closed system with nitrogen setup it won't lay all the way out but i know with 18's i was like an inch in the back..

3/8 is a lil slow for me i run 1/2 valves and 1/2 line and i can make it dance pretty good but i also run nitrogen but if u just want up and down go 3/8

Hey, i used to have an air ride tech suspension setup just like your talking. 3/8 Ins and 1/2 outs. It was dope. Had a lot of fun with it everyday after highschool lol. Here's some pics, you should be sittin low with a body kit, i never did that..

i usually don't deal with the kits i have a shop that pieces it together no snap fittings all compression fittings and brass connections

just do 1/2 valves u will be much happier dances good with nitrogen plus no compressor noises

don't get air struts it takes more air to inflate and deflate plus it doesn't lay as low u are better off with air rods..full metal cylinder doesn't look like it has a bag in the middle......u can have up to 18's and drive with it pancaked but i would suggest that unless its flat ground and u don't have to turn

LMFAO

well my civic will still be a daily driver so id like to have a nice ride still!

i think i might custom make my own air tank so im gonna make it preaty large... and build it inside my spare tire location to save in space.... i think i could make a 8-10gallon tank in thier..... mainly cause i want to hide everything in my current truck setup....but depending on what kinda tanks they sell i might just buy two small ones and put one on each side or if i can still fit them under my sub box...

from what ive heard air cans and air struts, air cans only give ya alittle more drop but the ride is not worth it for a daily driver.... i dont need to lay the car on the ground! i just want something to play with
always wanted air bags on my truck just never had enough cash to bag that sucker!
i can always throw some drag blocks on the civic to throw some sparks if i want..... just have to brace them up on some thick new metal on a heavy duty spot to spread out the abuse
