Been looking at upgrading my suspension with a set of upper strut bars and lower tie bars. are they all the same? see that DC sports has front upper strut bar for $170 by itself, but found a set of upper strut bars and lower tie bars on ebay for $100 total. what's the difference since the parts don't move and are made out of the same material.

 

If they are solid or not, weight, stiffness, ease of installation and appearance are all differences. Case in point, I bought an APC strut bar for my old Accord and I couldn't feel a difference. I bought a quality Neuspeed one for my Civic and it felt alot tighter.

I'm going the DC Sports myself. 475 for the set of strut bars and tie bar
