2001 black honda civic LX with 15% tinted windows.

im thinking about blacking the car out and going with Konig Zero 16 inch rims that are black with a red lip, getting tires that fit and then dropping the car.

im all ears though any recommendations would be great. thanks

 

Your plan sounds very......... overdone. Blacking out is really pretty old, unless its flat. Black car looks good with any color rims, besides black.

 

Yeah. I personally don't like black rims considering they just blend in with the tire and brakes in the back... then to add on with a black car. But if it's your interest, go ahead! I think any 7+ spoke rims/meshies with any color besides silver/black look best, imo.

 

I have 16-inch Konig Britelites (polished outer face and all-black inside) on my white Mazda, whereas my silver Honda has 16-inch black Racing Pros with polished lip and center - looks different, which is why I like them.

Both types of wheels are fairly light, with the Konigs being lightest at about 15 lbs.

I bought all from jlbmotorsports but for some strange reason, their products page doesn't come up - maybe it's my browser. They did offer any wheel in any almost any color (at extra cost, of course) and I was seriously considering a darkish blue with some kind of stripe along the inside outer diameter. I agree that all black is a bit too much.
