Anyone riding on Falken Ziex's?
Anyone riding on Falken's Ziex or however its spelled tires? I see them alot online and around here as OE when you buy rims or what not. They look directional and seem to be a pretty decent tire, but I have yet to speak with someone that has used them.
I want to put a new set on her car, so I thought about upgrading her ghetto tires to some directionals to help with hydroplane incidents. Her ride is light in the rear and seems to slide quite a bit in wet conditions.
Just curious.

i have a set on my wifes escort wagon i think for the price they are a very good tire. on the escort it gets great wet traction with them and great dry traction.they have over 2,500 miles on them now no complants. mine are falken xiex ze 512's
I'm rocking a set of 205/45/16's... I like them a lot.
They hold well in the dry, and don't get hairy in the rain (or even snow). They also don't wear ridiculously fast, which is a common problem with hi-po tires.
And they are cheap. Probably the best thing.

i have them on my wheels now. a bit of road noise but not too bad. traction is good in both wet and dry, also snow. They were way better than my last tires that i had, kuhmo asx. For the price im guessing you cant go wrong.
Have them on my Civic 215/35-18. Couldn't be happier. they are inexpensive and for a Z rated tired they have pretty good treadwear. they have some road noise but its not horrible and they handle very well in all conditions.
Awesome, looks like I am sold on a set then.
I just have to debate whether I should spring for a set for the stockers, or wait until I can afford a semi decent upgraded wheelset for her, lol.
