Default Best way to tighten up steering?

Considering getting some strut/tie bars off ebay, wondering if this will help tighten up the steering any? I have heard some people say Hondas are notorious for being vague in the center (driving straight). Don't know if that's true, but even if it isn't, it sure seems to be for mine. Regardless, I don't have to like it!

input appreciated!

I'm gonna agree with you on this one... I've been noticing it a lot more lately on my car.

strut and tie bars are going to give you less body roll in the turns. If you want a smoother ride on the highway straights, i suggest wide wheels/tires.

less body roll on a unibody frame, will cause better steering in the corners. Getting your wheels balanced and car aligned will deff help with straights and freeway miles. Balancing and alingment will help from freeway driving to parkinglot cruising!

wide wheels and tires won't smooth out the ride at all. they will give you better cornering ability but the smaller sidewall will create a stiffer ride.

um, yeah they do. Wider/low profile tires have a bigger contact patch and less of a tendency to "wander." Put on some 195/55/14's and compare them to a set of 215/40/ZR16's. My car used to wander quite a bit, even with just the strut bars on stock tires. But now, i can let go of the steering wheel on the highway, it the car never moves.
