Brake Conversion
Can someone hook me up with a link or two, and a general idea on how to convert a 94 civic ex back brakes from drum to pad?
Appreciate it. |
RE: Brake Conversion
get complete rear disc brake rear trailing arms, rear disc brake flexible brake lines, proportioning valve, larger master cylinder(not nessersary but good to get). and i think you need the parking brake cables from the rear disc car also
then install it all |

Any idea on cost, or where to find it?

Don't listen to him...if you just want simple rear brakes for cheap, it can be had for as little as $300 if you shop around....plus your labor is free:-D

RE: Brake Conversion
Its pretty much a no-brainer to do but it is a lot of hard wrenching if your car is rusty. To give you an idea, with new clean, loose parts I could do it in a half hour, but when I did it on my 95 it took me about 8 hours.

Awesome. I appreciate all the advice on it. Dont want to sound annoying asking the same questions over and over again but would you know any links that seel the parts I would need?
Also what donor car should I take the set up off of? (ive heard tegs and del sols but out of the two, which would you prefer. Or if there is a better third choice, Ide listen) |
