Default buying some wheels

I am looking at some Diablo Racing Wheels XT7 17x8.. they only reason is because the guy is selling them for $200 with tires. This is my first civic so I have no clue.

Will I have any issues with rubbing on a 95 Civic 2DR?? Is there anything I need to upgrade to make these work?

17"x8" rims are going to rub like a ****. 17"x7" is already bad enough if you don't roll the fenders... 17"x8" is going to rub every time you turn the steering wheel.

To make them work... you could roll the **** out of the fenders and then use spacers to get the wheel a little bit away from the inside of the wheelwell (to prevent rubbing on that) but you'd really just be wasting your time because it will look really stupid.

hey trust i dont get why they would rub bro?? because my brother had 18 inch rims and they didnt rub on his civic, and as far as i could remember i dont remember him doing anything to make them fit.

i really dont have any pics that would show the side of his car but he had a really slim tire, hahah it looked ghetto

If your brother had 18" rims then I don't believe you that they didn't rub. They probably rubbed if he tried to make U-turn. The reason they will rub is because they're 17" diameter and 8" wide... it's just too wide. The only way they won't rub is if they are pretty much the perfect offset.
