Default car is screwed --(PICS)--update!

[align=center]yep, my poor si. i hit a big dip in the road coming home tonight and the rear hit pretty hard and made a really loud noise. i get home and my entire tire and almost rim is stuck in my fender. i guess at first the coilover sleeve had gotten cought up in the dust boot (happened before)...but i would just jack it up and it would pop out. well, this timenot so lucky. my entire coilover sleeve it all the way at the bottom of the shock. it busted the c clip and went to the bottom and is all bent up on the shock. im really lucky i didnt have a wreck. so, how do i got about just getting ONE NEW ground control coilover sleeve??? possibly one new koni shock too i hope its not blown though. ill check tomorrow im pissed and tired. there goes some of my savings. dang im getting tired of the bs that happens to me. got pics this morning....looks like my car has bags. the passenger side rear isnt that bad but i can tell its rubbing and that the sleeve is jammed in the dust boot. and everything looks to be ok on the shock and coilover. as far as the drivers side, well look at the pics. the first is a pic of the passenger side. just a little jammed and rubbing, all ill have to do is jack it up and free the sleeve from the dust boot. second....passenger side. im lucky i made it home. i was only about 2 miles from my house.

dang.... hows that sleeve held in place? just that LITTLE lock ring? man if thats all thats holding that sucker up then id build a shield to hold it up!
with some large steel tubing and some flat steel and a drill... make a pedastal and just make it so the pipe going over the strut would be so tight that the sleeve wouldnt slide down over that little ring again!
i hope all coil overs arent so prone to sliding down like urs are! needs to be SOMETHING keeping that sleeve from faling down again...

fabing up some braces for it wouldnt be to hard at all with a saw, welder, and drill...

but that sleeve doesnt look to bad.... depending on HERE you have yours adjusted to most the time.... id just put the nuts ontop and leave it... or if it has to be square then just cut off the bent area...

Yeah, I think the sleeves are probably salvageable.. I mean, you don't drop it all the way ever, do you? Because I had my fronts slammed all the way the day I installed them, and I could only turn the wheel a few degrees in either direction...

(and kyb agx struts with sheild-things that the perch sits on ftw! lol)

yea but there is a little groove in the bottom of the sleeve that the ring slides into. if the bottom is all bent and screwed, i cant use it
