4 Attachment(s)
Sup everyone, i got these rims that iv had for a wail and i finally got some money to buy tires for them, now my budget is 300, and these rims are 15 inch
now some of my friends suggested 205/40-50/15 ,but i dont know how that would look like. Could you guys suggest or how would i know how these tires would look on my because i dont wana buy a set of 300 tires and come to find out that i hate em, but heres some pics of the rims :) Attachment 20112 Attachment 20113 Attachment 20114 Attachment 20115 so what do you guys think |
nice rims bro we need to put them on and take new pics.

hahahaha yea, iv seen a civic with some 205/50/15 n they lookd pretty good, as long as the car was dropd by a couple it lookd very nice n fat like some stright performance tires, which is kinda the look that i want.
but whould 205 even fit these tires and the the 50 part, would that be too big looking for a stock high civic? |
Arent you gonna lower your car eventually anyway? i know you wanna lol
and btw dicount tire direct FTW http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...NDA&vid=006054 |
yeaa i aint kiddin anyone lol ima probably drop it an inch or 2, but the ride is soo bounce though, thats the 1 thing i dont like about droping a car
|
why do you want 205?
195 is plenty get 195/55/15 |
those are pretty sick rims :)
|
Thanks, get this, my girlfriend got it for me for Christmas lol but yea i like em,just havnt been able to save some money but i have some now
and why 195/55/15 and now 205 50 15 or 205 45 15 the 205-195 part what would be the difference ?? and i also want the tires to look good but i have no idea how to get an image of them on my car, at the moment the car is stock hight but i want to drop it later on by half n inch to a full inch, what do you guys think?? |
the first number is the width of the tire tread in millimeters. the second number is the sidewall height, as a percentage of the tire width.
for example, a 195/55/15 tire has 195mm tread width, and 55% of 195mm sidewall (107.25mm) 205mm wide tread with a 40 offset might possibly rub on the inner fender around tight corners when you lower the car. 195/55/15 won't rub at all. |
thanks for the quick lesson, so with the 195 i would be rub free, good because when i bought the car they came with 18's (y i dont know lol) but half of my inner fender is gone,
but im leaning more towards 50-r15 and if u say that with a 195 i'll be rub free then i guess i got my tired picked out for huh lol thanks alot man |
