well the 195/50/15 is a little small (smaller than the recommended size for your car), your wheel wells will be less filled up and the speedometer will be off more than if you had 195/55/15

So its best to stick with the 205-50-r15 right, as long as the car is high enough i wouldnt rub correct, but with the 195 i would rub at all even if i was to slam the car later on right

i didn't say that

it's best to stick with what is suppose to go on it, 195/55/15.

I don't understand why you are so set on the 205's. Have you seen 205mm wide tires on a Civic? It is so wide. it looks out of place when looking at the back of the car.

you might still rub in some situations but it'd be very minor

well you might rub the top of the fender if you "slam" it, but it'd have to be pretty slammed. If you slammed it you'd need extremely stiff springs.

Now if we're talking about a normal drop, it'll probably never rub.

madjoker14 05-18-2009 06:57 PM

okay i see ur point and noo i havent seen a 205 tire lol thats y its soo hard to decide which set, but for the record ur saying 195-55-15 is the best way to go,because i want a balance between look n performance u know

trustdestruction 05-18-2009 06:58 PM

it doesn't say

they look like 15's, I can't be 100% sure though.

Here's 195/55/15 with a normal drop. i honestly don't think the sidewall looks too big. They already look wide enough too.

plus, 195/55/15 will be more comfortable than 195/50/15 or 205/50/15

what i say about the whole sidewall thing is that cars have tires. if you don't want to see the tires, don't get a car.
