Default Clicking sound when pressing brake pedal

I have this weird clicking sound when pressing the brake pedal. It happens at a certain point in the brake pedal pressing process. I can feel the click with my foot and I can hear it as well. Any idea what it could be?
Thanks.

Since you can feel it with your foot, that would indicate that it's something within the vicinity of the pedal assembly and master cylinder.
Can you recreate the noise with the car parked (and the car on, so that the brake pedal doesn't get stiff) while sticking your head under the dash and pushing the pedal with your hand? Try to locate the noise by doing this. If you don't hear anything coming from under the dash, have someone push the brake pedal with the car on while you listen underneath the hood. To better hear the noise over the engine, stick a funnel up to your ear and point the other end of the funnel at the brake master cylinder to see if it's making the clicking noise. I have no idea what clicking would mean, but locating the noise would help to find the cause.
