Actually no.
I just saw something on ebay about coilovers and I thought of this question.
Originally I had planned on buying lowering springs and shocks but the coilover kit looks around same price .
I've heard coilovers are better; why?
If i do get them, what brand should i get?

Well coilovers arent really that close in price range to springs and shocks....Coilovers just allow you to adjust the height to what ever you want....but if your going to get some, I would look into some skunk2($550 or something). I got some dropzone coilovers and struts($280) shipped, but i have yet to install them so i cant say anything good or bad about them.

And that would be everything I would need to lower the car?
How do you adjust them?

more or less; you could get camber plates but you really don't need them. To adjust the height, you take the two wrenches that come with them and use them to twist the black pieces on the threaded section towards the bottom; there's two pieces that twist and lock together to keep the spring from making "adjustments" by itself.
