Comment on These Wheels - 98 Civic EX Coupe
I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX Coupe in Flamenco Black and looking to purchase some new wheels for my car. I like the looks of the KMC KM663 Swindle in black which are 16x7 and a bolt patter of 4x100. These wheels were released earlier this year so I'm sure no one with a Civic has them.
Here is a picture of the Swindles so I would like to get some feedback if I should buy them or look for a better design or from another brand... preferably in black/chrome. Link: http://customwheel.com/custom_wheels/images/mKM6637.jpg
Edit: Will these Motegi MR105 be more attractive than the KMCs? http://asp.americanracing.com/dealer...ga/mMR1053.jpg

I'm also considering Rota wheels but not sure where to get them. I would definitely go with a spoke design (Spider or Circuit) in gunmetal, white, or steel grey. Would Rotas be a better choice and how much do they usually cost for 16s?
Edit: I found a site; www.modacar.com, which is a Rota authorized dealer. Anyone use this site or ever hear of them? The set would cost around $500 but shipping is $115.

IMO, I don't like either, they look very ricey to me. But its your car, you do what you want to do. Rota's are a great wheel set up, but are very common and you won't be that unique with them. I have 16 inch Liquid Metal Statics (look great IMO) and are fairly cheap. Discount tire had a deal where you get rims, tires, lugs, caps, balanced, and shipping all for under $1000. But beware, the design has them sticking about and you will get curb rash if you hit the curb, the lip won't save you. So you just have to drive careful.
