Default CV Boots ? Help!

Hello everyone.
I need help and I am wondering if anyone has had the same problem I am having. I have a '95 Honda Civic EX with 120K miles. I have had 6 or more CV Boots placed on this car and 2 axles on the driver side. I am a conservative driver and I really do not understand why my car keeps busting the CV boots...any thoughts? Please give me any ideas how I can take better care of these boots.
Thanks very much.

Edarr,
Till the 96 models were introduced, the civic had a 3 ribbed boot which tends to split all the time. The new civic's or Honda's now come with 5 or 6 ribbed boots (I forget how many) so they can expand/stretch more when turning the wheel. My 99 civic with the
new re-designed 5 ribbed boot has not cracked or splitted once. Get a new boot and you won't regret it!

Yep I have that same problem with the boot spliting on my 94 also. I went through so many of them that I lost track of how many times i replaced it. My car has a 6th gen civic and he probaly went through 6 cv axle. Its not a bad idea to have lifetime warranty.

Sliding a small screwdriver between the shaft and the boot to allow any air pockets to escape before clamping it down on the shaft.

I've got split boots on my 95. Anybody know if the later model's five ribbed boots would fit on my EG?
