difference between a 95 and a 96
hey... i was wondering if anyone could tell me if a coilover set for a 95 civic would fit a 96.... when i looked it up on a mechanics page... the diagrams showed that the suspension was virtually the same on both cars... so i was wondering if a set of coilovers for a 95 would fit my 96... particularly becuase i want to buy megan racing adjustable coilovers... but they make them for 92-95.. and then 00 and on... completely skipping my generation.. so.. if anyone knows anything that will help.. please let me know.. thanks...
Cheaper coil-overs usually will work with 1992-2000 civics, del sols, etc., but are bouncy as hell. I would personally get a set of lowering springs made for your year civic. H&R or Tein make good springs for like $200. If coil overs are your thing get nice ones, Skunk 2 makes ones for only like $300. Or get a full set up from Tein, H&R, Tokico, etc.
try looking for your car on either bilstein or neuspeed and see how those years match up.. as a second opinion to what burner said.. (on a side note, if i were going to go with col overs, bilstein makes an awesome civic pakage.. but its 1200.00
okay... i appreciate your replies... i know that i have to go with coilovers... and the ones from megan racing are the ones that i really want to go with... the are not cheap though.. 1200 is a lot of money to just guess at... so you guys have given me some good ideas.. thanks...
