do I need camber kits

Default do I need camber kits

I'm planning to drop my 97 civic EX coupe with tein s tech + tokico hp,
do I need camber kit with 1.9 f and 1.7 r drop.

need advice, thanks!

i'd say probably not, but other people will think differently, just use the washer trick in the rear and toe it in a quarter or so in the front and you'll be straight.

i'm gonna say "YES" you're gonna need at least a front camber kit (which kind of sucks, because they're the most costly compared to the rears).

anything beyond a 1.5 inch drop usually requires a camber kit.

the rear, you MAY be able to get away with doing the free washer trick (tutorial somewhere on this board).

I always say get a camber kit. I dont care how minimal the drop, do it right the first time. Drops under 1.5 are usually safe without a camber kit. So I guess I kind of dispute myself.

When you get an allignment (which I highly recommend after dropping), they'll usually tell you how many degrees you're off and whether you'll be needing a camber kit or not.
