drum to disc brake conversion... ... DONE pg 3 (no 56k)
I've been slowly working on converting my brakes to disc over the last month or so.
I'm upgrading the fronts too.
Fronts: Brembo slotted rotors with Bendix pads.
Rears: Brembo drilled rotors with Bendix pads.
Here's a pic of a pad in the front next to the new pads.
The old:
Lower control arms with with bushings finally sawzalled and chisled out:
With new ES bushings:
The rears readt to go one with some new Megan Racing Trailing Arm Bushings:
-I rebulit one caliper but had to replace the other. 5 bucks to rebuilt, 50 bucks to replace
oh, AND I just got another new toy...
Skunk2 Weighted Shift ****! I LOVE IT!! I found it on Craigslist for 20 bucks!!!

Update:
I have switched to the impact gun, cause I need to. The driver's is coming out real nice. Just one more 3 more bolts on that side, two of which are holding on the e-brake cable, so only 1 hard one left. Now for the passenger's side I have 4 more bolts, two again for the e-brake, 1 for the trailing arm bushing and another stupid arm one.
Driver's side:
Stupid control arm bolt:
The only reason I only got this far was because I started late tonight and had to stop because of the noise. Neighbors suck when you have to get things done.
