Default EK subframe vs. EG subframe

Roto didnt think they were differentlol. left pic is a random EK i found and right pic is my car.

you can see that the EK d-bracket mounting holes are on the outside as oppose to the EG which has them towards the inside. this is the reason why the EK subframes are weaker than the EG's and are more known for having a subframe torn out when not using proper bracing when adding a thick rear sway bar. if you do use a thick sway bar, no matter on EK or EG, it is important to use the proper bracing such as the Beaks or ASR kits.

ASR for the win...... now if only I didn't have a seized lca bolt that connects it to the chassis I'd have my asr brace, itr sway bar and blox lca's installed[&:]
