Front Sway Bar
I found a front sway bar from i'm assuming an si that is the same generation as mine for $30 on craigslist. Is this a good price? If so, what all would I need to install it?
You already have a front sway bar. Honestly, I don't think there's a difference in the sway bar between the 5th gen dx and si. The 5th gen si was literally just an ex in hatch form, so I kind out doubt it had special suspension, especially considering the things didn't come with rear sway bars.
Of course, I could be wrong. But I'm almost positive the sway bar you have is the exact same diameter as the one you're looking at.

Yeah, I should have added the part about if the Si sway bar was better. Which is the best to put in the rear? I mean there are aftermarket ones for my car but there are also ones from integras as well
I would think an integra one would suffice if you have mostly stock suspension and a stock front sway bar. As it is, simply adding a rear sway bar will help to reduce the understeer most F/F cars have designed into them.
I wouldn't really go aftermarket rear without a thicker aftermarket front bar unless your car understeers like a **** and you've already played with your spring rates and shock stiffness. Of course, if you know what you're doing well enough that you're toying with spring rates and shock dampening/rebound, you probably don't need told what to do with a suspension setup lol
also, i'd hit up some junkyards for an integra rear bar or people parting tegs out. You should be able to find one relatively cheap.

Yeah, for most people stock sway bars are fine. Besides, even with a stock rear sway bar, I guarantee you'll feel a difference in the handling.
But unless you're getting heavy into auto-x or open tracks, you really don't need thicker sway bars. Actually, you theoretically don't need sway bars in the first place if you run high enough spring rates, but at the spring rates you'd be getting into, your kidneys would be mush within a month and the car would be undriveable on anything but a perfectly smooth road (aka "race track").

Really? I don't think I've ever seen a car made in the last 20 years without a front sway bar. Things must roll like a motherf*cker in the turns.
If that's the case, $30 isn't bad at all for a front sway bar; I was just assuming honda did the logical thing and put a front sway bar on all their cars like everyone else.
