I have a 97 hatch and I think 17s look too big for such a small car - a sedan, maybe, but not a hatch or coupe, IMO.

The least expensive option would be to leave what you have on the car. If you want to keep those for your next Honda, you can buy brand new steelies for about $40 each at www.tirerack.com.
