RE: Happy Birthday to me!
so everyone has a picture of their new spring/shocks, so i got one of mine lol
And i also imagine the longer springs are for the rear and teh shorter springs are for the front since you want to drop the front a little bit more than the rear, right?
and i have a couple questions about the S-Techs installation, first of all it says to replace the top lock nut when installing the new springs, is this necesarry?
And it also has a chart about cutting the bump rubber on certain models. For my Civic, it says i needto do a "Type A" bump rubber cut. Anyone have any information about that? Heres the diagram of what it says i should do:
i know theres a few people on here with S-Techs that installed them themselves, did you do any kind of "Bump Rubber Cut"?

RE: Happy Birthday to me!
looking at this picture from Snipers DIY:
i dotn see how the bump stop is held in place, it just looks like its sitting there on the shaft, any info on that? And you literally just cut it in half?

may not seem professional, but u wana cut it. and its not like some fancy high-tech piece. its a lil thing of rubber with a hole thru it that the shaft goes thruto keep from completely bottoming out ur shocks.
