Default HD Bilstien Struts! 2000 Civic DX

Parents live up a bumpy dirt road which i drive. My struts need replacement.
I do not want to lower vehicle but would like to give my car , kinda off road look.

I was told by Biltien that a Heavy Duty Strut all the way around would help on bumpy dirt roads.

What is ur opinion regarding this.

R there any civics with off road suspension setups, pics.
Thanx

Stupid/bad idea. This will just look stupid and you will be mocked constantly. My advice, sell ur civic and get a truck. HTH

If thats what kind of setup your set on, it should be a good setup. Bilstien is a reputable company and I have read many good things about them. But yes, this will look ridiculous.

If you want an offroad look, get a different car. Don't try to make a Civic into something it's absolutely nothing close to.

Cool 15x6.5 Wheel with AllTerrain Tire!

Understand, been going back in forth on this and u guys r right.

What if I put a All Terrain Tire with slick look 195/55/15

and a Aluminum Wheel 15x6.5.

That way i still have a low profile look with dirt road tire!

It will be fine for your goal. Don't worry about what other people think about it, they just dislike anything that's not jdm/oem styling.

^That's not it, I just feel like if you want to jack up your Civic or whatever for those purposes, you should just sell the Civic and buy a vehicle that was made for what you are wanting.

The all terrain tires would look fine.

Well, if people want their cars lowered and have racing seats and tires on them, then why didn't they just buy a race car in the first place? same concept. Civics were made to be eco boxes, but people modify them into something they're not.

^ Point made. But I think a civic would be better suited as a street car anyday rather than an off-road vehicle.

He's not going offroading, he has a dirt road as his driveway. Can't get anymore practical than that.
