Default I am a happy motha...

whats up peoples. i have been on here for a min but i don't really post that much. neways. i just got in my tokico hp, i got a set of skunk2 and the front and rear camber to boot. this week is going to be a very productive one. I was just wondering if any one who did a garage drop (did it them selves) have any words of wisdom for me. thanks for the input.

i have some words of wisdom for you: air tools and mechanic friends.

you're going to need both to do this if you've never done it by yourself.

I just put on some ksport full coilovers last weekend and it was a muddabeetch. I had my mechanic father help me, but it was still a pain in the ***.

and make sure you have your ride height figured out BEFORE you start ripping out the old struts.

and another thing, if you do a severe drop, like 2 to 3 inches, you're going to scrape the hell out of your front air damm.

take pictures when you're done.

i guarantee you'll scrape your bumper after a two inch drop. lol.

don't worry. everybody with lowering springs does it.

I dropped my front end 1.5 inches on my integra and scraped the muddabeetch out of it today trying to go up a restaurant ramp entranceway...

You dont need air tools, just a little muscle and a decent sized wrench. But you well need an extra buddy to help you.
