Default i need adjustable height?

So i'm in the process of working on the suspension for my civic. it's a 94 sedan, but was looking for somewhat of an ajustable suspension. i was going towards air struts, but seems to complicated. so my question is how does the tein edfc work?? does it change ride height at all?? any help would be appreciated.

http://www.tein.com/edfc.html

^ go to that link..it tells you how it works at the bottom. These are VERY expensive, but one of the best suspention set ups you can get

why in the world would you spend money on something so complicated suspensionwise? just get ajustable coilovers.

Why in the world do you need adjustable ride height? I bought coilovers thinking that I was going to adjust height...hell no I did not. Even in the winter...not to mention that it messes wit your alignment.

well it makes ajusting your weight distribution much easier so you can get s2000-like balance.

mm its kinda hard to explain, but ajusting each individual corner to a specific height can and does change the load bearing on that corner and the opposite corner.

well the reason i wanted it was to be able to adjust to terrain. also maybe slam it when u get to a parkinglot. but that's just me.

alright another question is how does damping change the ride. does that just make from stiffer to springy ??

ajusting the damper means your ajusting your shocks' rebound time. the heavier your damper is the less time it takes for your car to stabalize but the jerkier the ride is. the less there is the longer it takes to stabalize but the ride is smoother.

what kind of terrain would you be driving on in a civic? asphalt and concrete...
