I put coilovers on the front but could not figure out how to get my rear struts out if anyone has instructions or pictures on how to get them out that would be great i am riding funny need to fix that

There is a website that sells the 1996 to 2000 Genuine Honda Service manual in pdf and it's a quick download after payment. Forgot the link though, do Google. Otherwise, some guy is selling the same thing on a CD on ebay - do a search. I have this pdf manual and it tells me how to do that + a lot of other stuff. Worth the $8 I paid for it!

If you pay a mechanic to do your rears tell us how much it costs!

 

The civic is a 1998 it seems to be a problem everyone i talk to has it is one bolt in the back we can not get out it is a pain in the A&&. if anyone knows what the deal is how to get it out please write back asap

 

Is it corroded so that you can't get it out? Does your car have rust? I used P B Buster or something from Walmart - sprayed it on my caliper holding bolts to loosen them.

 

ya the bolt is probably frozen in there. chances are u'll end up breaking the bolt if u try to get it out. if that happens, u can try to drill it out. u can also break the tack welds on the shock and pull the bolt out. or if u have the money, buy new LCA's and bolts and replace it all.
