I finally got to paint my rims today...

i did black with a chome lip...

my god, beautiful work, looks like u were a little too close to the wheels when spraying the black though. great job overall though, i love the result

i just noticed you didnt spray the inside of the wheel though, i would if i were you, it will look so much better, and what clearcoat did you use?

it looks like you never painted the inside(part behind the spokes) part of the wheel

 

Naw....i got that part for sure.....

 

They look A LOT better!! Aren't you afraid of them paint chipping?? Before I had wheels I had painted hubbies that chipped like crazy. Now I use the hubbies on my winter blizzaks.

 

not to worried about chipping


i have 2 coats of primer

4 coats of black


and 3 coats of clear


i should be ok.

 

it doesnt matter how much you use, prep work is what matters in this case, did you sand them down really good and clean em very good? if so you should be ok
