Installing Lower Strut Bar
 
I just recivied a 3 piece sturt bar set from ebay, i have the rear and back strut bars installed but i dont know how to install the lower strut bar. This is on a 2001 civic ex.

It's fairly basic, heres a pic of mine installed. Notice where the ends are attached, there is one bolt at each end. You'll want to lift the back of the car off the ground, pull those two bolts out, put the strut bar brackets on, then re-insert the bolts. Some people have had to use their jack to support the lower control arm from falling down, but I didnt have to. My car is also a 6th gen, and I just realized your's is a 7th. Maybe just try searching the net for "7th gen rear lower bar install" or something to that effect.

Are yours aluminum or steel? I noticed some on ebay but they were aluminum and I'm not sure if they will be durable enough...

aluminum is fine, its lighter, and guess what airplanes are made out of? steel wieghs a ton and not needed

Mine are CNC Machined BIllet Aluminum, are are perfectly sufficent for a daily driver app
