JDM lowering springs...yay or nay?
one of the first mods I'm doing is swapping out the lowering springs on my 97 Civic- came with her and she's not lowered enough for me, plus i don't even know what springs are in her lol. So my question is, is JDM reliable/a good company for lowering springs? I've heard a lot about JDM and a lot of stuff they sell seems to be cheaper....in this case 80 dollars cheaper then say Tein or Skunk2. She'd be lowered 2.0 in the front and 1.5 in the back. thanks everyone!

RE: JDM lowering springs...yay or nay?
JDM is not a company at all, it stands for Japanese Domestic Market, as oppose to USDM which is United States Dometic Market. do some more research on products such as Tein and Skunk2, both are good brands and worth the money. stay away from any ebay crap that says "JDM lowering springs" or w/e..

Don't Do It! I bought cheap springs on ebay and blew out myshocks in 6 months. You'll regret it.
If the price seems too good to be true it probably is.
Use the search box on this forum and you'll find lots about different springs. good brands are something such as: H&R, Tein, Eibach,Skunk2etc. - just to name a few
