i just got wheels and they are so sick! i was gonna go black but couldnt resist the shine of chrome. when the sun hits them and you get that glint of sunshine off each spoke... priceless. Oh and if anyone is looking for tires i highly recommend Kumho ECSTA SPT. I have 205/40/17's and they are amazing. they are very quiet and great in the rain and even better dry. thats my rant. log out.

Of course, it all depends upon what you are comparing your tires to. The Goodyear GSD3s are at the top of the heap when it comes to high-performance tires. And they are made here in the US - an added bonus! When I asked the Tirerack guys how the D3s compared to the Kumhos, each of three reps told me the D3s are "superior".

Still, if you are happy with the Kumhos, that's all that matters. I agree that chrome is shiny; just make sure the weight is under 16 lbs or so.

 

lovin those rims, kind of looks like you have a mild drop too, which is always a good idea.

 

i dont like chrome but hey, thats just me. the rims really dont look too bad though.

i don't like chrome either, but it looks pretty good on there, you just need to paint your calipers black or the same color as your car now.

ya its dropped but since putting the 17's on its been raised. i think i wanna drop it some more but i'm already rubbing a little on the inner fender liner. when i felt underneath the fender the liner kinda sticks out into the well so i'm gonna try and push it in and hopfully problem solved. so until that issue is resolved i guess i'm stuck at that height. next for the car: i'm gonna replace headlights and tails as well. seen a civic last night same body style as mine and it had the projctors and tails that i want. looked nice, i was jealous. oh and ya i do ned to pain the calipers.
