Alright so i go to shop yesterday and am looking for a nice set of 16x7 black racing style wheel for my hatch.. having hard time finding what im looking for as most rims have a silver machined lip or other.. so while shop owner is calling konig they start talking about a new racing wheel that came out in a 15..

but he is suggesting running 195/50/15 instead of the standard recommended size of 195/55/15.. so just curious what you guys think.. isnt this meaning less tire around the rim which means larger gap in my wheel well? .. also how would you think this would affect performance and what i should expect or if i should tell him that i wanna run the 55's instead??

 

the rims look pretty sweet..for the tire size i would go with a 50, you got springs i see so it wont really have any gap affect and its a better performance tire then a 55
