RE: Lowering
Depends on what you really want out of the car which way are you leanig towards more performance or looks. If your in the middle of that and don't plan on heavy turn racing then I'd go with like 1.5" drop. Tokico shocks and Tein springs are popular for a lot of civic owners on here.
Tokico HP's- not as performance oriented
Tokico Illuminas- a little more aggressive driving oriented
Tokico d-spec- even more aggressive
For springs just get a good set i'm not to keen on different springs but you just have to search. There is a lot of info if you search on here. Hope this helped

RE: Lowering
Anyone running illuminas on here that has tried HP's too? I wouldn't mind knowing if there is a huge noticeable difference in the control.
I drive hard and fast most of the time, so I want excellent control. I like Tokico though.
sorry to thread jack. I am looking for the same thing you are, lol.

RE: Lowering
Looking on pro-civic using their prices, which I honestly believe is about 10-15% higher then normal, the Blues and all 4 springs, H or S tech is gonna run about 500 bucks.
Lastnight I noticed someone in the classifieds is selling a set of blues for like 260 shipped. Add 150 for springs, save almost 100.
Not sure if he's still got em though, its like 3-4 pages deep.

RE: Lowering
i have a 00 civic coupe and i put on tokico hp blues and s-tech tein springs with a 1.9 front and 1.7 rear. i have 17" on them now and they fit and it looks great and the ride is the same. but my offset was to low and i had to roll the fender lip in the rears to fit the rims so them would rub. but i have a camber kit in the back to help tuck them in more so they fit in the wheel well. just make sure your rims have a high offset.
