Default lowering in future...

i wanna lower my civic a little but not much. just enough to get the space out from the tires to fenders. i was thinkin about the eibach pro kit because the sportline kit just seems a little too low for my taste. is the pro kit good or what? oh, by the way here is my car. it wont be too low will it? http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jhspla...ya08/my_photos

Go with H&R Sport/Race springs. Eibachs are usually waaaay overpriced.

Look into Tein Stechs. They are well priced and a nice drop.

first off, are those 17" rims in the picture?

second, take into account the spring rates when looking into springs. different companies are gonna feel different when youre driving around. Eibachs are usually on teh stiff side. The pro-kits are 1" all around? or was it 1.5" all around?

h&r's are also on the stiff side. I have tein s-techs on my Ej8 with 17" rims with 205/40/17 tires. PERFECT drop imo...the springs are pretty close to stock spring rates, and i am riding on tokico HP's. Also, cuz of the tire size, i dont really have any rubbing issues. if you are riding on tires like 215/45/17 ur gonna have rubbing issues with a drop over 1.5 prolly. u'd prolly have to roll/cut the fenders.

if you go with something less than s-techs u are gonna have more room between the well and tire (assuming you have 17" rims). also, if you drop it more than 2" it is highly recommended that you get a camber kit.

here's pics of my drop...tein s-techs with tokico HP's with 205/40/17 tires.

good luck!
