yes u'll eventually need new shocks with lowering springs or sleeve type coilovers(unless the coilovers are full coilovers). its best to buy the shocks and springs together and install them at the same time. beats installing the springs and then having to take the suspension apart again just to install the shocks. do it once and forget about it.

if u get the correct size tires with the 15's, it'll look similar to how his does.

what year civic do you have? i have an '04 (7th gen) sedan w/ tanabe springs, lowering the car 1.8" f&r. i'm installing tokicohp strutsnext month so it doesnt matter if your springs and struts are different brands. the car looked great w/ 18"s on it and still looks good w/ steelies for the winter. if you wanna check it out go to http://www.hondaspace.com/projectlowkey.

that's fine, you can mix brands. it's a better idea to do it all at the same time.
