Alright so Tokico HPs = $285, GC Coils = $300, so $585 for a good combo. Blox LCAs are $100. So I looked online and on GC's site... where do you get the top hats... they are just the top caster right?

Top hats. They don't affect any alignment angles, they just give the shocks a little more travel, extending their lives.

Oh sweet didn't see that thanks, I have all winter to decide but I'm looking at maybe some S Techs instead of coils, save some money.

i don't think you'll be satisfied with the s-techs, since i think you want a pretty good drop. You will still have wheel gap with s-techs

^ I'm with him. S-techs give a 1.9"/1.7" drop, which still leaves a bit of wheel gap. The thing with coilovers is that you can fine tune the ride height to exactly where you want it. Because of that, you can also raise the car for winter and lower it for spring/summer/fall. The only real downside is that you have to get an alignment every time you make a change to the ride height.

Also for LCA's, the Blox ones have been known to have the bushing go bad after only a few months. Then you will have an annoying squeaky sound coming from them every time the car moves.

Hmm well I'm just thinking the $150 for S Techs and the $285 for HPs is so much cheaper... and really to slam my car isn't practical with how bad the roads are in Wisconsin... and I think with S Techs I'd have a good enough drop that it is noticeable but not too much that I bottom out or can't make it in to driveways. But like I said I still have a few monthes to figure it out, and what other fancy LCA's should I get then, like Skunk2? It's just that they are 2x as much... or Blackworks has a fair priced set too. I'm sure most will say save my money rather than get them but I like the look and it's something I want to do.
