I've got an '07 Rallye Red Si coupe (with Navi :^)) on order, and I'm hoping it'll be here within a week or two. I'm trading in my '05 Mustang GT . . .

Anyway, while I'm waiting (like a little kid on Christmas Eve) for my car to come in,I'm thinking of upgrades I might want. One thing I'm thinking of is upgrading the wheels to either the 17" or 18" Honda wheels that the dealer offers. I'm looking for some opinions as to which should bethe better choice, especially with regard to handling, roadnoise,and ride quality. Would the 18" wheelsprovide a measurable improvement in handling? Would they degrade my ride quality? For that matter, which do you think would simply look better?

I appreciate and opinions, suggestions, thoughts, etc. that you folks might be able to offer!

go big or go home [8D]18's are fine on the new si's, road noise wont bea problem that depends on the tires, and i dont think handeling will be noticeably different between the 17's and 18's. the si's are handeling machines either way.

and im jealous of your car, every time i pull up next to theone of the new si'si wanna jump out throw them out of their car drive away with it, and while driving away ill throw my keys to them to be nice
