Your garage isn't heated or you don't have a garage? I have an unheated un insulated garage, i need to find a way to heat it.

Thanks everyone

I do have a garage, but it was cooooooooold over the weekend, and I'm afraid to fire up the woodburning stove [:@]

I didn't do the clear, the directions said it was "optional" -- of course, the directions also said to do 3 coats, and after it dried and I saw it in better light, it really could have used another coat or two. But I have enough left to do it again in the spring if I have to.

The whole project cost me ten bucks. And I know that anything I did couldn't be WORSE than just driving around with them how they were. So I'm not too concerned.

Here they are back on the car.

Looks like you laid the paint on too thick on this one.......I can see some cracks in the paint. Did you do light coats like I said?

No, you don't. That's the original clearcoat under the paint.

I thought you sanded those wheels? Can you explain those "crack look-alikes"?

Ha! Get me those pictures!!

You see the lines because I didn't remove ALL the clearcoat. I removed all the LOOSE clearcoat and sanded the rest. I wasn't about to use aicraft grade paint stripper in my house.
