I don't know about the "aircraft", but a good lookin "stripper" in the house would be okay.

those things that look like cracks are the ridges where the old clearcoat is and isnt. for beater wheels, theres no sense in sanding your hands raw to make them perfect. just rough them up a little so the paint sticks better.

It's just that it's kinda confusing when first mxs said she was going to get them sandblasted and repainted (they were winter beater wheels then), now it sounds like she didn't care about the paint job at all because they're just winter beater wheels. Huh?

I WAS going to get them sandblasted. That fell through. If this $10 paint job doesn't hold up, then I will have them sandblasted and repainted in the spring
