Default narrowed it down...

over the summer i am going to lower my car. i need suggestions on what to get. i wantED coilovers but the ride isnt going to be so smooth and plus its alot of $$...so, here are my choices. as far as shocks/struts are concerned i am going to go with either Koni Yellows or Tokico Illumnas. Koni's are $610 and Tokico's are $405. which ones should i get? as far as the springs go, i dont want it TOO low so here are my choices on them. Eibach Sportline ( lowers about 1.8 ), H&R sport ( lowers about 1.5 ), and Tein S-Tech ( lowers about 1.8 )....so what do yall think? i want a pretty good ride. i dont mind loosing some ride quality. keep in mind i am 16 so my body can handle it a little better than old folks..lol.. well, thanks for any help.

H&R's been around a long time and I've heard real good reviews from people that have them. Far as shocks/struts I'd say go with the Tokico since you won't see that much of a difference and it'll save you some cash.

I put an H&R cup kit on mine... basically Koni Adjustable shocks with H & R springs.. it was a bit harsher ride, well a lot harsher (I kept it on a VERY firm setting though...)... The drop you're looking for is what I achieved and the handeling went through the fricken roof... However, I was setting up for Auto X racing so I threw ride quality out the window...

Talk to the guys at Speed6motorsports (sacicons and LEVIII). I just recieved my new set-up from them. They went the extra mile to make sure I got a good deal, speedy delivery, and a product that was perfect for what I wanted/needed.

Tokico HPK's. Drop is 1.4" up front, 1.0 in back, and supposedly ideal for daily driving use, but also good for a lap or two around the track
