Default Need help picking first set of rims!!

Finally want to get some rims. Been waiting and now I have the money. I am limited on what I can get here in AK, but found a local place selling sportmax rims in 2 styles I like. Heres the link to the ones I like in Chromium black (have to put the mouse over that color) http://www.sportmaxwheel.com/sportmax_786.shtml
They are going on a 2004 White Civic Coupe that I am keeping as clean as possible. Yall think they would look good in the Chromium black or hyper silver. Also they have this style in the same two colors http://www.sportmaxwheel.com/sportmax_925.shtml Thanks,

Dave

By the way im going with 16's so I hopefully don't need a drop

Find out how much they weigh. If they are over 16 lbs, I'd get something else, like Rotas. They do look nice, however.

I always tell everyone looking for rims-MOTEGI. Great light-weight rims, but a bit pricey. IMO, drop it about an inch. The difference in the feel of the ride is drastically imporved. Have you decided on tires? I am rollin on Hankooks. They feel great. (regarding weight, my Motegi Traklites weigh about 10 pounds)

sport max doesnt look too bad but i would also vote to get some rotas because they are light weight and a decent price. you can get a set of 16s sent to your house for about 460 i believe.

To answer some questions, I am in AK so getting rims shipped here from online will double the price. The tires I believe he said would come with it are daytons. I am now leaning to the hyper silver instead of the chromium black simply because I think they will flow better with my white car. I am going to call around today to see if anyone carries rotas though. Thanks

Dave
