Thumbs down need lower control arm

so i wanted to get an alignment to put my new wheels/tires on...but had my girls dad check it before i brought it to the place.(they always try to play me when i bring my car somewhere...oh you need this you need that...we can fix it for you.) my question is..is any control arm good...like from autozone..or are those bad and i should get the from somewhere else. this is for lower control arm on the passenger side. i also need, i beleive, is a outter tie rod. the one with the boot. my boot was all cut up and was moving. thanks

You can go with the tie rods at the auto store, but I'd go ahead and get LCAs from a good company as they arent that expensive. I recommend Blox or Megan. I know several people who had bushing blow out with the Omni ones after only 6 months, so stay away from those. Ebay is the place to get them.

What's the difference from the ones you mentioned above. Are they better then autozones. Are they ment for racing/looks. Or do you feel a difference. And should I replace both at the same time.

Usually they are sold as a pair. They will be a better performing part than an auto zone part. They come in a variety of colors as well, they do look much better than the stock ones.

I have heard numerous complaints about Blox and Megan Racing bushings. Get some Skunk2 LCAs or get the bushings replaced with Energy Suspension if you use the other brands.

Make sure the LCAs have poly bushings. Megan's suck, Omni suck, and blox suck. They all use cheap rubber bushings and will fail in a year, two at max.

I had Blox ones for over two years with no problems with the bushings.
