those wheels are huge. what are they, 18"? 17"?
they will ride like crap and i wouldn't waste any money on them.

here's my recommendation:
if you're going to pay to powder coat the rims, you might as well just get a new set of some 16" or 15" rims and sell these ones. If your son wants big rims, 16" are plenty big enough... that's were most Civic owners will draw the line at rim size.

the bigger the rim, generally the heavier the rim,. the heavier the rim, the worse the acceleration and braking. the bigger the rim, the smaller the tire sidewall, and every time you decrease tire sidewall height, the more ride comfort you lose.

Okay cool. If you like the rims as big as possible without sacrificing too much ride quality, gas mileage, and acceleration, look into some 16" rims. 15" are what I use though and I recommend those if you don't mind them being 1" smaller than the 16" rims. They're less expensive, the tires are less expensive/easier to find, and they're comfy .

I think 16's look the best personally. 15 just looks to small, especially if the rim has a decent sized lip on it.

Yea 16s are just the perfect size IMO. 15s look great on some, but I think they look just a tad too small. But when people start putting 17s and 18s on
6th gen Civics, I just want to laugh because i know their ride must be horrible. Not to mention ugly. What wheels you thinkin about getting?

Yea it depends what car they're on. I think 15" look fine on my car, but then again my car is pretty small. I'd call 16" the reasonable limit on 5th and 6th gens.

I am thinking of getting Black with sliver, but would rather get an exhaust. In Michigan we have ridiculous pot holes so you don't want to go to low on the tire profile

Default Whees

we have some beat 15 Enkies with regular tires on it now. I am tryng to figure out how high I can go on the tire profile without making it look stupid
So if we run 16's what is the bigest aspect ratio that will not look bad
