If you are talking about the boot on the steering rack...well I'm changing it out next weekend when its warm enough. Its a fairly easy job and the boot was like $15...I drove with it ripped for 4K miles so I don't know if I damaged something or not, but it doesn't seem like a big deal.

well here are some more pics in the day light. I am satisfied. I also hit the worn wiper thingys cuz you know I had extra.(only used 2cans 1can clear 4+ coats each in and outside). Well I took the car and my dad for a scream on some really nasty lake roads and the car did not feel half as squirrly as it did on the highway, actually less? Thank you K for the input I honestly cannot say how long it has been that way. I still wonder if it would be fine based on the 400 mile drive I have comming up? I did not know these cars drift(break loose)on the back side. And yes it was fun(topped 90mph and naturally slower on corners)some really great unkept and unknown roads in the ozarks. as we drove my dad(mortician by trade) had some really crazy car wreck stories the whole way.

actually xcm the tires come off monday to be replaced as the aformentioned highway pothole put bubbles in the side walls...I know then it was dumb to run it but at 30yrs I am stubborn and have driven on worse.hence the crazy death call stories from dad.
