I would like to drop it some more again but with all of the construction around here on the roads I dont think it's going anywhere. Nice job covering this stuff though Chris

Lowered on Koni Yellow Sports and Ground Control Coilovers(450/550 in/lb springs). This is the lowest my car has ever been and ever would be. Just had it this low for the photoshoot...

I'm planning on getting a 15x8 with +12 offset pretty soon. So I'm gonna need to do more than just bend the lip on the fender right? Will the method that project91 posted work without screwing my fenders up? I'm assuming i'm gonna have to pull them at least some.

Thanks. They're Falken Hanabi wheels. 15x7 +42mm offset, 11lbs and ~$100 each.

Depending on how low you are, even with a rolled lip I'm sure you'll rub, esp under hard cornering. I'm sure you'll have to pull the fender some to make it work.

I completely forgot about my daily driver lol. No body roll pics as I've only used this car once when I was instructing at an AutoX Novice School a while ago. These are the only pics I have of my DD that you can see ride height..

Stock suspension on 14" Del Sol wheels with 185/65R14 tires.

I kept my Tokico's and early last summer decided to slap the spings on my DD. These pics were taken with the 15" +35 offset wheels I use on the street with my black car, just had them on there for the AutoX Novice School.. I currently have 195/65R14 tires on the Del Sol wheels which fill in the gap a little bit more but don't have pics yet. Looks good though, I'm very happy with the setup as my DD.

I might try to get some new pics whenever my car is clean from this damn salt on the roads...

Well I assumed they needed to be pulled since I want to keep my car as low as possible for a dd. I am almost maxed out on my skunk2's so i'm trying to learn everything i can about pulling them without damaging the paint or anything else.

thats because of tire wall percentage if anyone didn't know why. the more the tire wall the softer the ride because the tires can absorb more of the bumps in the road. sorry for the obvious statement but just thought Id explain in case anyone wondered .

Exactly. Lower profile tires not only have a shorter sidewall, but due to the shorter sidewall, they're also much stiffer than a higher profile tire, meaning you feel almost every bump in the road. With those 205/40's I could literally feel the tires go over small rocks on the road, no joke.
