That's a shame, but for those of you who don't have the big bucks, Avons are probably one of the better performance tires at half the price of the big-name tires. The Goodyear GSD3s are better, but cost quite a bit more (for similar sizes).

Hey thanks for the advice man, but the azenis are pretty amazing too at not a high cost. They come recommended by MANY people first person at several autocrosses.

their without a doubt a great tire, the price isnt bad at all for what u get out of em. not the best in wet weather, but if u dont drive like an a$$ then u'llbe fine. i got my friend to get em, he's had em for 2 1/2 weeks and has alreay done 2 autoxes, i kno hes very happy with them. told me they grip so much better than his other street tires he had that it opened up a weakness on his miata, bodyroll lol. another friend who co-drove my car at a race has never driven on azenis before, he said he knew he wasnt pushing the car to its fullest potential because the tires wouldnt break loose.

Yeah I've heard about the wet weather thing, but here in texas (it's been out of the norm for a few weeks now) we usually don't get a whole lot of rain. The tires I have now really suck...and TONS of people have recommended azenis at each autocross.
