rear alignment... help!
95 civic ex...
my sister was driving my car and cut a right turn a little to sharply and ran over a curb with the passenger side rear wheel going about 30mph now the car crabs down the road. A local mechanic said one of the arms would bend long before the frame. Im just trying to get some insite on what to do

Let me just start out by saying women drivers... ugh.
If it is obvious that the wheel is bent in the jack up the car and check it out. Lokk at the whole trailng arm assembly and check for anything bent. Check the piece that goes from the buh to the body of the car, which is what adjusts the camber of the rear tires. Otherwise check the lower control arm but I doubt that's bent. Check though, I doubt your subframe is bent.

anyway, get under the car, compare one side of the car to the other. Look to see if the side she hit the curb on is bent anywhere. The guy is right though, the arms would be before the frame, the frame doesn't really bend in cases like this... frame damage is from collisions.

There's three things that are likely to bend in this case. First, the strut, next the LCA, and finally the trailing arm. The trailing arm is a bit more robust than the LCA, which in turn is stronger than the thin metal of the strut. I'd say check out the strut and the LCA.
