Default Rear brakes.

My DX coupe has rear-drums. As we all know rear-drums are totally lame and fade like a poorly-dyed t-shirt. In my line of work good brakes are a must. I'm wanting to know if one of the superior trims(EX, LX) has rear disc, and if a swap would be easy or even possible. The cheapest aftermarket rear-disc conversion I can find will cost me around 1000$, which I don't have.

Look around the junkyards, Craig's List, and EBAY. You should be able to find a rear disc conversion off an integra or Si for under $500.

Find the arms off of an Integra like Agent said. I got mine for $200 and bought new cables and bushings to do at the same time, the only other thing your gonna need is a proportioning valve off of the integra, oh and you have a DX? so you should also check out getting a brake booster off of an EX, Integra, or SI. The EX did have an optional disc brake setup also so if you come across one of those you'll be golden

I hear that getting an integra master cylinder and brake booster isn't such a bad idea.

okay, so i need to acquire rotors, calipers and pads, and the booster off of an si or integra. Is the porportioning valve on the booster, or will i need to pull one off of a junk car?
