rear disc conversion

Default rear disc conversion

i am about to go to a salvage yard on saturday and i would like to know what car would i have to get the rear disc brakes off of to swap with the drum brakes on a 1994 Honda Civic LX

if you want something really nice and doesnt cost a whole lot for a drum to disk all wheel brig brake kit check out www.fastbrakes.com

^ uh...what??? How does 1400.00 plus shipping and install compare to 300 pick and pull? New pads rotors etc would only be another 200 tops. He'd be saving darn near 1000 and learning brakes at the same time.

side note...four piston fronts would be trick though.

i was saying for the rear upgrade to disk is like 600 bucks, so its only like another 150 bucks for bigger everything and brand new... but also if ou dont have a money issue.... kit is like 1/2 the price of like a aem brake kit

e-brake cables, proportioning valve, complete trailing arms, master cylinder and brake booster.

The bolts holding the trailing arms to the lower arms can be a real pain, bring a sawzall just in case so if you snap the bolts you can cut through the lower arm to get the parts home.

and don't slip and headbutt an I-beam like I did [&:]
