I have a bunch of information at home about doing the conversion that I will post later this afternoon.

As far as is it worth it? According to the guy (mechanic) that is helping me with my engine swap it is not necessary. But he did tell me that since I wanted to do some suspension modifications that I should consider doing the brake upgrade. Disc brakes are easier to change and are suppose to stop quicker. I figure personally it is about modifying my car to non stock setup. It is the fun factor for me.

http://www.d-series.org/forums/suspe...rsion-how.html - how to small pictures

http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=641639 - faq same info as #1

http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread...ra+Disc+Brakes - year info

http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2251647 - different swap

Here is the prices that I am figuring or have paid so far:

Trailing arm assembly (complete) - $170.00
Master Cylinder - $45.00
Proportioning Value - $43.00
ebrake cable (new) - $70.00
stainless brake lines - $110.00 (front and back)
speed bleeders - $20 (front and back)

Other possible expenses:

turn rotors - $??
brake pads - $??
bushings if needed for trailing arms- $??
brake fluid - $??

Total around $500.00

well the price really depends on how good of a deal you get and what parts brake on the car when removing the old trailing arms mine ended up costing me $700 in the end, in the begining my estimated cost was $300-350 is it worth it YES! mine just paid for itself 2 days ago when i was driving along on a 4 lane highway and there was a double trailer semi on my right and a f-150 whipped out in front of me and didn't see me if it wasn't for the brake upgrade i would be out of a civic.

If you don't get the ebrake cables I know for sure that not only do 94-01 Teggy work, but also the 93 teggy cables work as well... that's what I used. I ran my conversion without the 1" MC, but with the 4040 valve.

the lines flex less, so your brakes are a little more firm and responsive.
